Aoede is a natural satellite of Jupiter. He was discovered by a team of astronomers from the University of Hawaii led by Scott S. Shepard in 2003.
Size and Orbit Edit
He is about 4 kilometers in diameter, and orbits Jupiter at an average distance of 23,044 Mm in 714.657 days, at an inclination of 160 degrees to the ecliptic, (162 degrees to Jupiter's equator), in a retrograde direction and with an eccentricity of 0.4311.
He belongs to the Pasiphae Group.
