This category holds the rocky planets of the Solar System. The largest of this group is the planet Earth, our home planet. The smallest is the innermost planet, Mercury, being smaller than the largest moon in the Solar System, Ganymede. These all orbit the Sun in the least amount of orbital time. Venus and Mercury are the only two moons in the Solar System to not harbor a natural satellite.
