A Classical Kuiper Belt Object (KBO) is a type of celestial object found in the Kuiper Belt, a region of the outer Solar System beyond the orbit of Neptune. Classical KBOs are distinguished by their relatively stable orbits and orbital characteristics. They tend to have more circular orbits compared to other Kuiper Belt objects, such as scattered disk objects or resonant KBOs.

These objects are remnants from the early formation of the Solar System and are composed mainly of rock, water ice, and other volatiles. Classical KBOs typically have diameters ranging from a few tens to a few hundred kilometers. Examples of classical KBOs include Pluto, Haumea, Makemake, and Orcus.
