Cupid (/ˈkjuːpɪd/) is an inner satellite of Uranus. It was named after a Shakespearean character in the play Timon of Athens. It is also known as Uranus XXVII, and is the smallest of the inner moons.
Detected on August 25, 2003 by Mark R. Showalter and Jack J. Lissauer, the Voyager pictures were too dim to notice at first. Cupid has a 9 km radius, a mass of 3.8 quadrillion kilograms, and a temperature of -344.47°F.
